**What's so exciting about this role?**

In this newly created role, our Remuneration Manager will drive the employee reward strategy across multiple jurisdictions including Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK & Ireland. As a key Manager in our People & Corporate Affairs team you will be responsible for ensuring that our rewards strategy is relevant, competitive and compliant. This role requires strong leadership, communication and people skills and the ability to successfully foster close working relationships with key stakeholders to provide solutions that meet **hummgroup**’s culture and strategic intent. We are open to this role being based in Sydney or Auckland.

**What Does An Average Day Look Like?**

No day is average at **humm **but here’s an idea of what you can expect to do in this role:

- Managing and maintaining an employee reward strategy that includes designing fair and attractive bonus, STI, LTI, and Sales Incentive plans, and aligns to **hummgroup**’s P&C strategy.
- Reviewing and maintaining a robust and transparent remuneration strategy, taking a pay-for-performance approach.
- Preparing all reporting and data for quarterly and annual People and Remuneration Committee (PRC) reports and participate in PRC meetings.
- Providing regular Board and Management reporting based on people, remuneration, and HR metrics, undertaking ad-hoc reporting as requested.
- Supporting the Chief People & Corporate Affairs Officer with Enterprise Agreement negotiations
- Managing the annual salary review process within agreed timeframes.
- Providing recommendations and solutions covering remuneration planning, market analysis, and benefits planning;
- Developing and deliver a Benefits strategy aligned to our cultural strategy, including a review of existing and making recommendations for new benefits ensuring consistency across locations where necessary.
- Ensuring salaries and benefits comply with the relevant legislations, industrial agreements, awards and enterprise agreements addressing human rights and pay equity concerns.
- Identify remuneration trends and recommend new practices to engage and motivate employees
- Managing and consult with external vendors including Remuneration consultants and EAP providers

- An outstanding track record of working across both reward functions (Compensation and Benefits) including experience of working across Superannuation, Novated Leases and Insurances.
- A proven record of designing and managing remuneration strategies
- Experience in managing the delivery of remuneration and benefits across multiple geographies
- Highly developed communication skills.
- Ability to effectively present information and negotiate with all levels of management including CPCO, CEO and Board members.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Sound financial & commercial acumen
- Strategic thinker and influencer in terms of vision and positioning for the business.
- Resilient under pressure
- Exposure to Workday or similar HRIS
