Head of Cyber Security Business Engagement

Reporting directly to the CISO this newly created role will see you drive maturity in engagement with technology and the business as well as grow the cyber education and influence capability.

**Responsibilities**:
- Build senior partnerships within IT and the business to obtain strategic buy-in & influence the right security outcomes
- Assessing and responding to the needs of the business, continuous evaluation of capability performance and engagement outcomes
- Develop, operate, and maintain the Cyber Security Education program to ensure it meets industry best practices, standards, and compliance requirements
- Communicate security policies, requirements, and good cyber practices through the security education program
- Perform high level evaluation and prioritisation of work in the business and technology pipeline, resource management, scheduling, as well as cost recovery for projects/initiatives.
- Assist and contribute to cyber security strategies to continuously evaluate and improve the cyber threat and security risk profile.
- Operate and maintain appropriate reporting to technology risk forums, CISO, CIO
**Background**:
- Experience developing and implementing a Cyber Security Education and Awareness program
- Knowledge of governance, compliance, technology risk and security best practices
- Good understanding of legislation and frameworks such as SOX ITGC, SOCI, NIST CSF, FIRB and The Privacy Act.
- Ability to manage a team and influence accordingly to ensure the delivery of security solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Understanding of the “whole-of-technology” stack and how cyber security controls and capabilities are applied end-to-end across the stack
- Ability to translate technology and security terminologies to business language in order to communicate effectively with the business and foster partnerships.
- Good business acumen and balanced risk analysis skills to drive security outcomes in line with IT and enterprise strategy

Salary - $200k - $220k package + benefits
