An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Desktop Services Specialist to join the Information Technology team at Brandbank.

Reporting to the Head of IT Infrastructure and working closely the Technology Service Desk Team and POS Development Team, you will ensure the reliable, efficient and secure operation of our technology infrastructure across Head Offices, Warehouses and 500 Stores in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and

Singapore.

**THE ROLE**:

- Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and future planning needs of the company’s desktop environment.
- Monitor the performance of the company’s desktop environment and make suggestions for improving efficiency and availability.
- Evaluate and deploy, OS updates, software patches and firmware upgrades to make sure that the desktop environment is operating at it’s optimum.
- Resolve technical issues related to system and network interruptions.
- Provide level 1 & 2 desktop support.
- Manage and prioritise the service desk tickets to ensure that the business SLA’s are being met.
- Assist in the rollout of new stores by providing remote assistance to internal/external stakeholders on go-live days to ensure all POS systems are operational in time for opening.
- Collaborate with vendors to evaluate new technologies that are available and make recommendations to management on using these technologies.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent (Desirable)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Desktop Services role
- Professional written and interpersonal skills will be essential
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to establish reasonable deadlines for resolution.
- Ability to prioritise and manage several milestones and projects efficiently.
- Comfortable working in and assisting others through company service desk software, such as Zendesk.
- Previous experience with AWS, Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Extensive experience working with different operating systems including Windows, Linux and Mac OS.
- Standard Operating Environment Design, Implementation and Automation.
- Prior working experience in the retail industry and its technology requirements.
