Experienced Female Disability Support Worker

_We are looking for Disability Support Workers who are enthusiastic, committed to their role, and are able to build rapport. _
- Our Client is a fun-positive middle-aged lady who loves her two horses, ragdoll cat and children. She is super independent and is always working on her physical fitness and health as this is important to her. _
- The ideal Support Worker for our Client is someone who is detail-oriented, can read the room and have absolute attention to detail, is honest and reliable. _
- The role will involve supporting our Client with 2 hours of thorough household cleaning, 2 hours of meal preparation. A comprehensive task list is provided, with clear expectations for cleaning and meal preparation to ensure consistency. _
- Shifts that are available: _**Every second Thursday from 10:00am to 2:00pm**_
- **QSSS hourly rates are Weekday $34.45, Evening $37.00, Night $38.00, Saturday $47.00, Sunday $60.50, Public Holidays $73.80 - (sorry, rate not negotiable).**_
- You will have support in your role via a comprehensive care plan and support from our awesome Support Specialist team. _
- We also support our staff through our EAP service which offers 4 x free counselling sessions where required, as well as discounted physiotherapy sessions at select physio practices while also having the assurance of consistency of Clients you support. You have a comprehensive suite of online learning to support you and face to face learnings. _

**Your key responsibilities & accountabilities**:

- To deliver high quality support to our Participants in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered. 
- Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Participants' needs with our Participants, team & Support Specialist.
- Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Participants needs. - Provide support to our Participants as required.
- Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner.
- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required.
- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Participants.
- To support our Participants to achieve their NDIS Goals.

To be successful you must
- Resonate with the role description above
- Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives
- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
- Hold or be willing to obtain NDIS worker screening or yellow card
- Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
