Seeking Experienced Support Workers

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Support Workers to provide exceptional care to our Clients in the Broadbeach area, Gold Coast.

This is a very hands-on role which would suit a Support Worker with substantial experience. Skills in hoisting, peg feeding, non-invasive positive pressure ventilation (NIV), medication distribution, bowel therapy, catheter care and community access would be favourably considered.

You will work alongside other dedicated, caring Support Workers in a well-supported team. Your excellent communication skills will ensure that our teams work cohesively and our Clients are well supported to live their lives in the way that they choose.

We have a variety of shifts available including day, evening, overnight and weekend.

- **Your key responsibilities & accountabilities **_  

To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered. 

Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients' needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist.  

Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Clients needs.  

Provide support to our Clients as required.  

Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner.  

Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required.  

Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients.  

To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals.

Resonate with the role description above.  

Hold CPR and first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain). 

Hold NDIS worker screening (or willingness to obtain).

Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card.  

Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (or willingness to obtain
- preferred).

Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia.  

Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives.

Pay: From $33.21 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 38 per week

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
