Experienced Support Worker

Our Client is a vibrant individual who enjoys watching TV shows, engaging in conversations, and embracing the beauty of the Gold Coast. However, he requires specialized support including 24-hour non-invasive positive pressure ventilation (NIV), hoisting, peg feeding, medication distribution, and bowel therapy involving digital stimulation.

To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered

Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients' needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist

Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Clients needs

Provide support to our Clients as required

Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner

Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required

Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients

To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals

Resonate with the role description above

Be able to prepare and deliver yummy food that our Client can enjoy

Hold CPR and first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Hold NDIS worker screening or yellow card (or willingness to obtain)

Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card

Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (or willingness to obtain

Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia

Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives

Manual handling experience required

**Salary**: From $33.21 per hour
