We are reopening a heritage-listed building, offering a refined hospitality experience focused on Mediterranean cuisine, fun cocktails, and a carefully curated Eurocentric wine list. This multifaceted venue has been a local favorite for over 20 years, and we are seeking an experienced Venue Manager to lead its redevelopment and reopening.
**The Role**:
We need someone who can drive the venue's success and make it the local’s favorite spot. The key to success lies in enhancing presentation, atmosphere, personal service, and overall guest experience. Managing financials and developing the staff to deliver exceptional service is crucial. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team of experienced hospitality operators.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee day-to-day operations and overall business performance.
- Ensure smooth daily running of the venue.
- Maintain exceptional guest experience standards and drive consistency.
- Develop and build a strong team.
- Identify growth opportunities, activation, and delivery.
- Manage financial aspects, including COGS, sales budgets, and profits.
- Ensure legal compliance of the venue.
- Handle effective stock management, quality improvement, and reporting.
- Maintain venue cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
