Within this role you will be tasked with providing expert advice and consultancy to the business on a wide range of complex employee relations matters.
**What your new role will involve**:
- Coach and advise key HR functions and business leaders through complex Employee Relations, performance improvement and conduct matters ensuring all matters are dealt with in a timely manner and in accordance with relevant policies and legislation.
- Educate, influence and train key HR functions and business leaders in relation to Employee Relations matters including updates to relevant legislation and regulations.
- Lead and manage the Enterprise Agreement renegotiation in line with business strategy.
- Collate and record Employee Relations data to identify trends and develop appropriate remedial strategies, working with key HR functions and the business leaders to implement.
- Idenfity and manager any Employee Relations risks, including representing in litigated matters, hearings and mediations.
- Foster a productive and collaborative relations with the Finance Sector Union.
- Collaborate with key HR functions and business leaders to support and deliver HR projects aligned to key strategic priorities.
- Support key HR functions to develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.
- Work with the Head of HR to deliver the Employee Relations strategy and empower business leaders to improve the employee experience.
- Deliver and contribute to key HR projects and participate in performance and conduct projects to support the business to meet agreed outcomes.
You will contribute to the quality and credibility of the HR function by providing customer service of the highest standard work collaboratively with senior executives and managers, other HR staff in the planning and coordination of overall human resource and employee related operations.
**To be successful in the role you will bring**:
- Previous senior HR generalist experience across the full range of HR functions.
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships, effective partnerships and credibility at all levels of an organisation.
- Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring professionals to deliver people related support across an organisation.
- Sound knowledge and understanding job evaluation and classification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- High level of conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities to meet deadlines and deliver high quality outcomes.
- Possession of a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
