**About the opportunity**:
Our North-West Sydney team is looking for a permanent part-time female support worker. This opportunity suits individuals who want to provide individualised support in a day program or respite setting. We offer a minimum 4-day/week shift, with weekends and sleepovers. The pay rate is $33.42/hr + superannuation + salary packaging.

**Role Requirements**:

- Experience supporting high-functioning customers to achieve their life skills and work/ study employment goals
- Experience in high support needs - manual handling, PEG feeding, medication and personal care.
- Challenging behaviour Experience - we have customers with complex health and behavioural concerns.
- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, preferably from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm; weekends are a must.

**Typical duties might include**:

- Assist our customers with employment goals, networking with employers and organising work placements.
- Devise and facilitate program activities and workshops with customers and other support staff.
- Personal care includes bowel care, manual handling using various equipment and aids, and other health and hygiene needs such as feeding, medication, dressing, toileting, and showering.
- Supporting customers with intellectual disability, high physical support needs and medical / health needs.
- Ability to develop positive relationships with our customers and to support their care plans, including goals

**Pre-Employment Requirements**:

- Valid working rights.
- A current Driver's Licence and confidence to drive an accessible van.
- NSW Working with Children Check NSW.
- NDIS Worker Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Health Assessment
