We’re helping build out an HR team with a unique Talent Acquisition Specialist role which will equally suit an experienced HR practitioner with strong talent experience as it will an experienced TA specialist. This opportunity suits you if you have a passion for recruiting top talent, a strong understanding of the hiring process, and experience using a variety of sourcing and assessment techniques.

Most importantly, you will have developed great care and skill partnering hiring teams to understand their needs to build bespoke talent sourcing and assessment processes. This often requires leveraging your business experience and understanding of various methodologies to coach and develop key stakeholders involved in the process. The ultimate goal is finding the best talent based on an informed understanding of the role and company needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Building trusted relationships based on understanding, capability and performance
- Business partnering using flexible and insightful consulting skills
- Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent for a variety of roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and develop job descriptions and job postings that accurately reflect those needs.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruiting data and metrics to measure recruiting effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Qualification, skills and experience:

- Life experience is great. The insights you bring to each project based on your experience is what makes the difference.
- Experience in talent acquisition, talent sourcing or a generalist HR role with a strong talent focus
- Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting.
- Strong understanding of recruiting tools and techniques, including social media and various job boards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work through ambiguity.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS) is preferred.
