**The Opportunity**

Within our Future Air Mobility SPO (FAMSPO), as the AIR7404 project enters the acquisition phase (post Gate 2), KBR's Aerospace team is seeking a Financial Specialist to undertake day-to-day management of activities associated with Business/Finance processing to support our RAAF customer to achieve the following outcomes:

- Project financial activities are assured and executed effectively
- Proposals to financial aspects of tenders or contracts
- Coordinate and maintain travel and simple procurement registers
- Report against financial budgets and support internal approval processes
- Coordinate project financial task responses
- Conduct simple procurements on behalf of the project
- Assist with tracking expenditure
- Contribute to the development of best practice within FAMSPO through inputs to development of processes, and knowledge sharing across the FAMSPO integrated team

**Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge**

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

- Demonstrated competence and experience as per skill level 2 Practitioner or above
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Defence Finance processes and procedures
- Experience in an outsourced services environment
- Demonstrated experience working effectively within an integrated team environment
- Demonstrated competence and experience with the One Defence Capability System process
- Ability to work autonomously, and demonstrate an ability to meet demanding milestones
- Knowledge of Defence Writing standards
- Knowledge of internal Defence processes
- Strong client and staff engagement, relationship and communication skills
- Defence industry experience (ideally working ATL)

**This role requires **immediate access to secure facilities and a current NV1 security clearance. This role is based out of Brindabella Park, Canberra, and requires infrequent travel to other bases.**
