**The role**
Lead the APLNG Corporate Services team to deliver and coordinate effective and valuable specialist financial corporate services to APLNG and its shareholders. You will ensure the effective delivery of other corporate services to APLNG and its shareholders.

The role is focused on leading a team that are responsible for the APLNG Consolidated Group financial position, requiring the effective coordination of Upstream and Downstream operators and service providers to APLNG in order to deliver the APLNG Consolidated financial results to APLNG and its shareholders.

**More about the role**
- Lead the team that is responsible for the coordination and delivery of APLNG Consolidated financial results and related materials including statutory financial statements and audit committee materials.
- Leadership and effective governance of the APLNG Corporate Services Finance function.
- Provide specialist finance input into APLNG special projects (e.g. specific transactions).
- Leading change initiatives and building people capability and engagement: developing the APLNG Corporate Services team and ensuring excellence and sustainability.
- Monitoring the cost of Origin’s Corporate Services delivery to APLNG including finance, legal, corporate affairs, government affairs, tax and treasury including oversight of appropriate cost recovery.
- Effective collaboration with other managers in the Group Financial Reporting team to deliver group‐wide initiatives, projects and improvements.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will come with strong stakeholder management skills, together with technical accounting knowledge and ability to effectively drive, interpret and operationalise policies and standards.

**More about you**
- CA/CPA qualified with extensive experience in any of the Big 4 or Large Listed Corporate environments, ideally with an understanding of the Oil and Gas industry
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or Economics
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, self‐directed, motivated and focused
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in particular the ability to comprehend complex issues and effectively educate a wide range of stakeholders
