**Job Title**: Technical Services Manager

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
Take ownership of the technical aspects of the skin imaging system, including integration, testing, and ongoing support.

Manage an outsourced development team, providing guidance, overseeing their work, and ensuring timely project delivery.

Constantly monitor and enhance the security protocols and processes related to the systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Collaborate with doctors and nurses to train and upskill them in the effective use of our imaging systems, contributing to their professional development.

Configure and secure local SQL environments, ensuring the smooth operation of databases and networking infrastructure.

Maintain a strong focus on security, implementing and enforcing protocols to protect sensitive information and prevent unauthorized access.

Collaborate with the team to remotely access sites and ensure the security and integrity of the systems.

Collaborate with HP to configure and install hardware, including system equipment and towers, ensuring their proper functioning.

Integrate software solutions and document quality management systems, ensuring compliance and optimal performance.

Develop and maintain SLAs (Service Level Agreements) with clients, providing efficient and reliable technical support.

Manage and motivate a technical team, including senior technicians, level 1 support staff, and skunk works engineers.

Work towards restructuring and optimizing the technical structure of the team, improving processes and workflows.

**Requirements**:
Strong technical background and experience in managing technical operations in a similar role.

Knowledge and experience in SQL networking, able to configure and secure local SQL environments.

Relevant certifications in Microsoft SQL and networking.

Experience in managing security protocols and ensuring data protection in a multi-client, multi-environment setting.

Familiarity with remote access tools and technologies, with the ability to review and enhance existing systems.

Proficient in hardware configuration and installation, working closely with HP to ensure proper system functioning.

Experience in software integration, document management systems, and quality management processes.

Strong understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and the ability to meet client expectations.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop technical staff.

Strong attention to detail, particularly in maintaining security and compliance.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with medical professionals and internal teams.

Self-awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

**Direct Reports**:
**3 direct reports**: Senior Technician, Level 1 Support, Skunk Works Engineer

**Travel**:
The majority of work is remote, but occasional travel may be required for hands-on support and remote management.

**Working Pattern**:
Hybrid working pattern, initially focusing on reshaping the team and modernizing policies and procedures, requiring hands-on training and motivation of the team.
