About the Role
As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for activities that include collecting payments, investigating, and reconciling overdue accounts. You will coordinate efforts and escalate to Business and or AR Manager when internal collections are not effective as well as maintain records, files and generate related aged debt reporting.
This is a permanent opportunity based in Sydney, Australia.

**As Credit Controller you will**:

- Responsible for a ledger of approximately 300 customers ensuring payment is made within agreed terms.
- Monitor & analyse collection trends & identify debt issues at an early stage for resolution
- Work closely with customers and business, facilitate relationships in a commercial manner and facilitate/support in dispute cases
- Liaise with business to solve queries relating to disputed invoices
- Responsible for keeping client accounts current and achieving monthly and quarterly targets
- Document concise customer status updates for Management
- Monitor/update all customers on regular basis for change in possible credit status, alert

Management as to significant credit status changes.
What you’ll bring

**You will have**:

- At least 1 - 2 years commercial client credit experience requested.
- Proven experience in reducing aged debt
- Ability to clearly communicate both written and verbally with internal and external clients.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills
- Ability to liaise with multiple internal partners and build strong relationships
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
- You will be a team player developing exceptional working relationships and driving business value and a positive attitude.
