Principal Project Officer

**THE ROLE**
The Principal Project Officer within the Sexual Violence Programs team will lead the co-design, development and implementation of recommendations from the Board of Inquiry into historical child sexual abuse in Beaumaris Primary School and certain other government schools. This role will also contribute to the program management of sexual violence services across the state, including the design, implementation and evaluation of the Justice Navigator initiative.
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to progress the co-design, development and implementation of various projects critical to the implementation of the Beaumaris Board of Inquiry recommendations and intersections with activities related to sexual assault support services, sexually abusive behaviours treatment services, Aboriginal sexual assault services and Multidisciplinary Centres. The role includes leading the co-design processes with internal and external stakeholders to design robust projects that contribute to strengthening responses for victim survivors of sexual violence, and will lead the preparation of briefings, discussion papers, project planning documentation, data acquittals and analysis, presentations, reports and other documentation.
**Applicants should possess strong stakeholder management skills, written skills, service design skills, conceptual and analytical abilities, project management skills and be collaborative.**
**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Manage and oversee the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including:
- Leading research, analysis and implementation of complex projects based on defined outcomes and outputs.
- Managing and overseeing projects or sub-projects and being accountable for the successful delivery and completion of the projects/sub-projects within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
- Monitoring and evaluating projects to ensure departmental objectives are met.
- Provide leadership, guidance and authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders and prepare and present detailed, comprehensive reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on complex matters.
- Pro-actively build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
