About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to coordinate and lead the administrative staff within Perioperative Services whilst providing efficient, effective and courteous administrative services to the unit.
About you
- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with the Department of Health's core values
- Communicate and liaise with key stakeholders, senior staff, work colleagues and patients across surgical services to ensure daily administrative activities are coordinated and implemented effectively
- Co-ordinate and lead administrative activities and resources of perioperative services in order to provide efficient and effective utilisation of administrative support services
- Lead and support the administrative team in theatre and procedural bookings and system processes to meet the requirements of surgical service line
- Undertake administrative bookings functions when the team requires additional assistance or when backfill of leave is not available
