- A great communicator with proven experience in working collaboratively with a range of key stakeholders to achieve good partnerships with government departments, renters and service providers

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to build collaborative partnerships with the local government sector, at whole of sector, council grouping and individual council level to implement place-based approaches to the delivery of social and affordable housing. The Manager will lead this work across Homes Victoria and directly with peak bodies and local councils.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
*
- Identify, develop, secure, and manage strategic partnerships with the local government sector to build sustainable and meaningful relationships to support social and affordable housing outcomes for Victorians.
- Develop and maintain a social and affordable housing compact with local government that establishes an ongoing strategic partnership with local governments across Victoria.
- Represent the department at key forums, on committees and relevant working groups with stakeholders, building effective relationships across government and responding strategically to new government policies and initiatives
