**The Opportunity**

We have a great opportunity for an experienced **Commercial Finance Analyst** to join our global team in Brisbane. The role will involve extensive interaction with stakeholders so we are seeking a professional, confident and solutions focussed individual. In this role you will support the firm's client/matter life cycle including:

- Matter tracking and monitoring
- Producing financial reports and analysis;
- Matter pricing and resource planning including reporting to business managers around compliance with pricing governance framework;
- Quality assurance for matter set up and commercial terms for high value matters and commercial arrangements.
- Proven financial analysis skills and strong commercial acumen
- Prior experience at Analyst level in a Law firm, or Financial or Professional Services firm
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of programs in the Microsoft suite including Excel (vlookups and pivot tables), Power BI and a working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience with 3e or similar and IBM TM1 will be well regarded
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to very tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation
- Ability to identify and escalate areas of risk to the divisional business managers
