**About the role**

We are looking for an experienced Roster Officer to coordinate and roster a dedicated team of direct support workers committed to the delivery of quality support to the participants that Aspire Community Services has. The Roster Officer will liaise with direct support staff taking care to match the needs and specific requirements of the participants. The Roster officer will also provide day to day direction and support to the team of direct support staff.

- Minimum Certificate IV in Disability/Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Experience and understanding of shift allocations, staff rostering and roster-based computer system
- Knowledge of the NDIS and invoicing (Preferable)
- A basic understanding of the SCHADS award and employment legislation
- Flexible availability & a long-term commitment

**Main Responsibilities**
- Ensure that rosters are developed/amended daily to support continuity of care.
- Ensure workforce needs are monitored and liaise with the HR team to replenish staffing resources.
- Ensure that staff availability regularly updated and maintained on the system.
- Timely and regular provision of relevant information to Participants/carers, direct support staff, team leaders and service team.
- Maintain current and accurate referrals and customer and support/service delivery information as per service agreements and Aspire Community Services policies and procedures.
- Ensure to model & provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders.

**Essential Criteria**

To be considered, you MUST have
- An understanding of disability and community services sector
- Relevant qualifications and/or knowledge and experience
- Minimum 1 year industry experience (Preferable)
- Understanding of NDIS
- Ability to actively navigate and adapt to change.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong administration skills
- Valid Victorian Driver License
- Current National Police Check (Valid for one year)
- Identification check
- Current Working with Children's Check
- Minimum two referee check
- Commitment to working within the legislative framework and the organisations policies and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- NDIS Worker Screening Check

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
