We are less white tablecloth dining and more come-as-you-are kind of vibe. The Ducks do what we can to implement ethical and sustainable business practices on all levels. We work with honest, local suppliers we like who have the best quality produce. Three Blue Ducks at The Farm Byron Bay is set on an 80-acre farm and Macadamia Orchard with views of both the hinterland and Byron’s iconic lighthouse. Our restaurant is open 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch. Dinner is available on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday with wedding and other events being held throughout the year. This is an amazing opportunity for a career minded person in a growing business. We are looking for someone who is happy and energetic to roll the sleeves up and get stuck in, someone who is truly passionate about this industry.
**Job Description**:
**Qualifications & experience**
- Experience in a supervisory role preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in working to safety, health and hygiene standards
- Experience in working as part of a team in high pressure environments
**What you will bring to the role**
- A true interest for ethical food, hospitality and people
- Barista training and experience would be awesome
- Experience in supervising a busy service
- Amazing communication skills
- Assist with training programs for staff to ensure we are exceeding our customer expectations.
- Honest and results focused - able to give and receive genuine feedback and take action as needed
- Innovation - proven experience of genuinely implementing new ideas
