THE OPPORTUNITY
We are currently seeking an energetic and well-rounded professional Weddings & Events Manager to run our Palmers Lane function Centre. As Weddings & Conferencing Manager, you will be instrumental in the management of the function centre, from budgets & P&L, through to team management, product development and customer experiences.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced functions and events professional to take their next step in this exciting field.
Competitive Salary commensurate with experience.
Qualifications & experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in leading a team
- RSA
- Strong administrative skills

Skills and responsibilities
- Ability to effectively motivate the team and ensure the highest level of customer service
- Be organised and have an eye for detail
- Be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm demeanour
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with customer and suppliers
- A sound understanding of budgeting & effective rostering and cost management
- Ability to work nights and weekends
