**About the Role**

An exciting opportunity for a Market Analyst Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. The position will be responsible for providing quantitative/qualitative analysis and reports to the trading team and ensure they’re able to make informed decisions.
The role will additionally be responsible for designing, enhancing and maintaining reports using a range of tools and technologies. With this in mind, previous experience producing reports with SQL Excel and Tableau would be highly beneficial.
The position works very closely with the trading team and will confirm or oppose their positions so the ability to build relationships with strong interpersonal and communication skills is an absolute must.

**About You**
- Substantial experience in a global commodity market analysis capacity.
- Experience with oil & gas commodity market analysis would be highly advantageous.
- Proven experience with data analytics and reporting (coding experience with SQL, VBA or Python would be beneficial).
- An understanding of (or experience with) the Australian energy sector would be beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
