We are a new team within News Corp Australia adopting a startup approach to disrupt the digital media and comparison markets. Our ambition is to be the #1 destination for consumers to compare products on financial wellbeing decisions and generate quality leads for businesses across several categories.

**What’s the role?**
- Write, maintain and refine content that engages and empowers audiences, and drives action.
- Optimise existing content to continuously improve SEO and audience action
- Provide detailed, actionable feedback to ensure our content quality performs
- Use data to work across a large body of pre-existing content and develop an ‘always-on’ strategy for improving and refining content and bolstering SEO performance

**Who you are**
- Extensive experience writing and producing finance and / or comparison style content, including news articles
- Experience with contributing to content strategy and editorial planning for both news and evergreen articles
- Experience building out content on new and unfamiliar topics
- A strong understanding of SEO, as well as the concepts of keyword research and tools with the ability to use reported insights to inform your editorial work
- An ability to understand complicated topics and distil them into a clear and digestible messages
- Media or journalism degree preferable
- Financial related degree preferable
- Exceptional time management skills
- RG146 certification - Highly desirable
- AFCA membership - Highly desirable
- Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Brokering - Highly desirable
