**About the role**

We have a new opportunity for a recent journalism (or similar) graduate to join our team as a Content Writer. You will be involved in:

- Authoring and editing content to help increase eye health care awareness for our growing customer base with the support of our experienced network of Optometrists.
- Briefing our leadership team and Optometrists on product and eye health care topics.
- Working closely with our product, marketing and retail operations teams on new product and service planning through to launch.
- Working with our web development and graphics design specialists to deliver on-brand and on-trend digital content to market.

**About the person**

We are looking for someone who can deliver compelling, concise and user-friendly content across our markets to elevate our brand's position as retailer and health care service provider.
- A recent university graduate in journalism or related area of study.
- Some understanding of SEO.
- Good understanding of medical, optical or fashion either as part of previous work experience or as a consumer/benefiter of such services.
- Engaging creative writing skills with a strong command of English.
- Strong researching skills.
- A desire to take ownership and uses initiative to add value to the brand.
- Proactively collaborates with stakeholders.
