Role overview

Do you have what it takes to become a Smart Content Writer? You will develop high-quality content for our web and mobile apps, collaborating with UX designers, engineers, and various departments to ensure consistency and excellence. We value creativity and provide a supportive environment with opportunities for growth. If you have advanced writing skills, experience in copywriting for web and mobile, and a strong portfolio, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Develop compelling copy for Smart web and mobile apps
  • Content Strategy & SEO: Use data and insights from user testing and research to inform content development and optimisation, ensuring content adheres to best practice SEO guidelines
  • Brand Voice: Ensure consistency of tone, style, and language across all marketing materials, aligning with our brand guidelines and Smart UI Design System
  • Squad Ceremonies: Participate in squad ceremonies, including daily scrums, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, showcases, and backlog refinement
You are someone who can bring
  • Advanced writing skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into simple, engaging content
  • Ability to communicate in a voice aligned with the brand tone of voice
  • Experience in meeting sprint goals, commitments, and prioritising deliverables
  • Proficiency in using Figma and/or Sketch for writing copy to meet UX and design requirements
  • Experience using Jira to manage sprint deliverables
  • Strong and effective stakeholder communication and management skills
  • 5+ years of experience in copywriting for web and mobile, preferably in financial services, SAAS, or tech/product-led organizations
  • A strong portfolio showcasing writing skills, creativity, and the ability to adapt to different tones and styles, including the application of SEO best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience working in agile environments, with proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
