The Transport Coordinator will be customer facing and will use their proven customer service background to build strong relationships with customers, maintaining an excellent standard and continually identifying improvements to enhance customer experience.

The role requires someone driven, passionate, organised and a team player. The Transport Coordinator will have strong communication and people skills, the ability to plan and coordinate daily activities, be organised and achieving the daily KPI’s.

Key Responsibilities- Provide a single point of contact for the customer specific to customer service and executing daily transport tasks.-
- Provide clear and regular communication to relevant stakeholders- Manage & coordinate all quotes and transport bookings- Manage & coordinate urgent transport requirements from pricing to completion- Partner with the customer and carriers to ensure transport requirements are met and completed on time.- Devise strategies to ensure service standards are met and continually improved.

The role requires someone driven, passionate & organised. The Transport Coordinator will have strong communication and influencing skills with a desire to continuously learn and develop their skillsets.- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the Transport and Logistics industry- Experience using Transport Management Systems, WMS or ERP systems.-
- Knowledge/experience of how to work safely in a Distribution Centre environment- Capable of working autonomously and within a close-knit team.- The ability to prioritise and manage your daily workflow in an efficient manner- Demonstrated analytical and solutions driven skills- Strong ability to engage and build relationships with a range of stakeholders- Intermediate level using Microsoft Office Suite is essential- Strong customer service & communication skills- Knowledge of KPI reporting / recording and procedures
