**About the Role**
The Principal Project Officer drives the success of project teams, leading the development, delivery, monitoring, and evaluation of a portfolio of strategic projects. This role is crucial in achieving project outcomes and supporting the attainment of organisational objectives.

- You hold relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in project management and consistently deliver results within tight timeframes.
- You have expertise in all aspects of project work, including research, development, implementation, review, and evaluation, with a trauma-informed approach prioritising the needs of Aboriginal Communities.
- You provide expert, culturally appropriate advice to stakeholders, ensuring projects align with plans, budgets, and objectives.
You excel in leading and managing project teams to foster collaboration and deliver outcomes in partnership with Aboriginal Communities.
- You build genuine relationships with Aboriginal organisations and Communities to achieve outcomes for the Keeping Places Project.
You can communicate sensitively and effectively with, and understand issues impacting on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
- You uphold AANSW's commitment to Aboriginal Cultural and Intellectual Protocols in project delivery.
- You maintain meticulous records and ensure compliance with cultural protocols.
- You are adaptable and willing to travel across NSW to engage with communities and stakeholders, ensuring meaningful consultation.
You bring innovation and seek new approaches to keep projects adaptive, community-focused, and culturally appropriate.
