Your role as the Online Trade Specialist in Womenswear will be pivotal in operationalising the success of our Online Trade using your digital trade experience to drive the overall success of your category for David Jones.

We are looking for a Trade Specialist with a strategic, analytical, and technical mindset who can facilitate the growth and strength our growing Online Trade.

Based in Melbourne with a hybrid mix of time in the office and from home, this role will suit someone who is flexible and adaptive with a genuine passion to grow their career within E-commerce.

What does the role involve?
- Lead the execution of trade in your category through Own Buy and Concession sales strategy
- Oversee product placement, promotional planning, and onsite marketing calendar in collaboration with Digital Marketing
- Collaborate with Merchandise and Buying stakeholders to ensure omni-chancel experience is delivered and continually improved
- Support the Online Trade Manager with reporting capability to maximise trade insights
- Continue to drive best practises across customer journey for product discoverability, promotion offers and campaign launches.
- Mentor and provide learning opportunities to your team members the production co-ordinator and online trade co-ordinator

Who are we looking for?
- Demonstrated experience in Ecommerce trade or other similar markets
- Ability to analyse trade data using platforms
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders
- Experience in managing a team is desirable
- Exposure working within the retail industry will be advantageous
- Tertiary qualified within a relevant business/technology discipline highly regarded
