**Position Information**:
Wyndham Public School, with a current enrolment of 26 students, is a rural and remote school on Yuin land in the high country of the Bega Valley Shire. **Selection Criteria**:
In addition to the general selection criteria, approval to teach infants and/or primary.

Demonstrated capacity to balance the complex teaching, administrative and leadership roles of a teaching principal.

Highly visible leader with strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build effective partnerships with students, staff, parents, and the community.

Proven ability to provide high level instructional leadership and quality teaching and learning programs to drive the growth and achievement of every student in a multi - stage setting with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy.

Capacity to lead staff in implementing the Department's priorities including the School Excellence in Action policy and the Aboriginal Education policy to ensure quality outcomes for all students.

**General Selection Criteria**:
1. High level educational leadership with the skills to lead and manage a complex public school focused on the delivery of high quality education

2. Ability to lead and manage rigorous and inclusive whole school teaching and learning programs

3. High level communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build positive relationships and engage all levels of the school and educational community

4. Ability to lead and manage the development and performance of staff to improve teaching and learning

5. Ability to plan systems and manage resources effectively and equitably to enhance teaching and learning

6. Capacity to lead staff in implementing the Department's Aboriginal education policies and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people
