**How this position will Make the Difference to City of Melbourne**:
The Project Officer - Waste and Recycling Hubs supports the delivery of new communal waste and recycling facilities across Melbourne’s central city, contributing to the City of Melbourne’s Waste and Resource Recovery Strategy 2030.

In this role, you will work closely with the Project Manager to coordinate and implement a range of project activities that ensure the successful rollout of the program. This initiative is focused on improving waste management practices and expanding the network of accessible recycling hubs for both residents and businesses in the CBD.

This is an opportunity to be part of a team driving meaningful environmental change and shaping a cleaner, more sustainable future for Melbourne.

**What you will bring**:
All CoM employees will demonstrate an ability to articulate and demonstrate benefits of positive culture and values.** In addition, the position will require**:

- Excellent written and oral communication skills including the capacity to influence and liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
- Tertiary qualification in a related discipline such as Project Management, Engineering or Environmental Science and/or proven experience in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships critical to the delivery of Council’s services;
