Retail Assistant Store Manager

We are on the lookout for a driven and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join the leadership team and support the Store Manager at our at our beautiful Armadale store.

You will partner with the Store Manager to coach, develop and lead a team to deliver above and beyond service and drive store performance to achieve outstanding results.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- Deliver and exceed sales budgets and growth expectations
- Effectively manage store rosters to deliver budgeted wage %
- Lead by example in customer service, ensures staff are trained to deliver above and beyond service
- Maximise sell-throughs and profitability of products through effective refilling, markdowns and stockroom management
- Ensure the store maintains visual standards and merchandises stock to maximise sales potential
- Recruit team members with the correct brand and cultural fit, competencies and behaviours
- Provides team with a quality induction and introduction to the brand
- Provides direction and appropriate feedback to team
- Creates a positive and productive store environment for team

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**:

- 1+ years retail management experience in an apparel & homewares brand
- Previous experience in a fast paced, high volume retail sales environment
- Strong commercial acumen to achieve outstanding sales budgets and KPIs
- An eye for detail and high visual merchandising standards
- Expert in delivering brand experience and cultural fit
- Demonstrates exceptional customer service
- A capacity to prepare monthly rosters costed to achieve store budgets
- The ability to analyse and organise stock to maximise sales on the shop floor
- Desire to challenge yourself to achieve company and personal objectives
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage, motivate and lead a team to reach their potential
- Available and flexible to working 38 hours a week with some weekend work
