About Cinnamon Baby: We are a Melbourne childrens wear brand with a large online presence and incredible community of Mums. We have excitingly just opened our new Armadale boutique and we are now looking for a wonderful, vibrant and enthusiastic manager to oversee our new store and lead our lovely team.

**Responsibilities**:
As the Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers while ensuring smooth store operations and leading a team of casual employees.

Rostering: Develop and manage employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak and off-peak hours, considering customer traffic and sales trends.

Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of sales assistants, providing guidance, support, and training to maximise their performance. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and motivates staff to achieve sales targets.

Visual Merchandising: Maintain an attractive and organized store layout, ensuring merchandise is displayed effectively to enhance the customer experience.

Customer Service and Rapport Building: Ensure exceptional customer service by training and coaching staff on effective sales techniques and product knowledge. Build rapport with customers, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and fostering long-term customer relationships, maintaining a customer first mindset.

Stock Control: Oversee inventory management, including receiving, organizing, and replenishing stock. Conduct regular stock takes to identify discrepancies and implement appropriate measures to minimize stock loss.

Liaise with Warehouse: Collaborate with the warehouse team and directors to coordinate stock deliveries and transfers, ensuring timely replenishment of merchandise. Communicate stock requirements and provide feedback on product performance and availability.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a retail manager. Preferably in childrenswear but not a must.
- Proven track record in team management, with the ability to problem solve, motivate and develop staff without supervision.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet sales KPI's.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers, employees, VIP's and directors.
- Proficiency in stock control and inventory management systems (Shopify).
