Principal Consultant, Cloud

Our Delivery team at Versent continue to shape the technology experiences of our customers/ stakeholders across many well known enterprise brand in Australia. As a result of increased customer demand, we are on the look out for a Principal Consultant, with a proven capability to influence, lead and deliver successful transformation project(s) across complex enterprise customers to join our Cloud practice. This is a role which will call for a seasoned Delivery Leader with a strong ability to lead a high performing team, gain a seat at the C-suite table and deliver large & complex programmes of work. Responsibilities;
- Developing and maintaining trusted relationships with customers and partners through the execution and delivery of the customer strategy.
- Effectively delivering on requirements, ensuring the agreed outcomes are achieved within determined timeframes.
- Responsible for the leadership and management of client engagements within the commercial construct of the Statement of Work.
- Empowering and supporting the delivery team to achieve engagement outcomes in line with Versent delivery processes and practices.
- Establishing and leading an Agile delivery team in the Versent model.
- Act as the first point of escalation during engagements, helping to resolve issues and risks; customer and leader feedback as well as the attainment of commercial milestones will be a key measure of success.
- Leading a team of up to 10 including the direct people leadership, management, coaching, mentoring and supporting team members.
- Creating a positive, goal-orientated culture where constructive feedback is encouraged, calculated risks are taken, and trust is fostered in line with Versent values.
- Responsible for the day to day management of people, including timesheets, leave approvals and creating an operational cadence for the team.
- Work with Directors and People & Culture team to effectively attract a skilled and diverse team through recruitment and development of team to retain talent.

- Strong Agile Delivery leadership and management within a technical domain.
- Proven consulting leadership and management with clients.
- Focusing on customer needs and satisfaction by setting high standards for quality and quantity, monitoring and maintaining productivity, working systematically and consistently achieving project goals.
- Leading, coaching, developing and mentor employees; setting clear performance measures and goals.
- Establishing good relationships with customers and employees; building effective external networks and relates to people at all levels and manages conflict effectively.
- Projects credibility; gains clear agreement and commitment from others by persuading, convincing and negotiating.
- Work strategically to realise organisational goals and take into account a wide range of issues across and related to the organisation.
