**Salary: $55,000 - $75,000**

Hobson’s Bay Hotel is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Supervisor/Duty Manager/Assistant Venue Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the venue
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction
- Supervising and coordinating staff activities, including training and development
- Handling customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Assisting in inventory management, stock control, and ordering supplies
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Managing cash handling procedures and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborating with management to implement marketing and promotional strategies
- Supporting the Venue Manager in achieving revenue and profitability targets

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Strong leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and inspire a team
- Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations, including bar service and dining
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- Understanding of relevant legislation, including RSA and food safety regulations
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
