**Job Title**: Duty/ Assistant Venue Manager
**Location**: Hobsons Bay Hotel, Victoria

**About Us**:
Hobsons Bay Hotel is a vibrant and community-driven pub located by the beautiful coastline. We pride ourselves on offering great food, drinks, and memorable experiences for our guests. We’re now seeking a dynamic and proactive Duty/ Assistant Venue Manager to join our passionate team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth service flow
- Lead and support the team to deliver exceptional customer service
- Assist with staff training, scheduling, and supervision
- Manage stock, ordering, and inventory control
- Support in handling guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback
- Assist with venue events and promotional activities
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Act as the Venue Manager in their absence

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role within hospitality, ideally in a pub or restaurant
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- A passion for hospitality and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- RSA certification (required)
