**What can you expect?**

As part of our Investment Consulting team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside Mercer’s leading investment consultants to solve issues including generating real return within a volatile investment environment, investing in a time of climate change, and the design of retirement income strategies.

If you have a strong client focus, like to solve complex problems, have a keen eye for detail and have a passion for creating better lives, then we need you to help superannuation funds, university endowments and asset owners navigate some of the biggest challenges of our time.

**We will count on you to**:
As an Analyst in our Investment Consulting team you will support delivery of asset allocation modelling, strategic projects relating to superannuation funds, strategic investment research and asset class manager research. You’ll work with team members on client deliverables, provide input to business development activities, and provide support to our graduate analysts.

This role requires a unique blend of capabilities, including an ability to be involved in client-facing consulting, produce accurate and insightful analysis, develop quantitative modelling tools and contribute to research across the investment consulting landscape. At this level, you’re not expected to have done it all before though, we have a strong culture of training our team for success and supporting you as you learn on the job

**What you need to have**:

- Experience in the investment industry (between one and five years).
- Passionate about investment markets.
- Strong communication skills.
- Interested in generating data-driven insights that are both technically accurate and useful.
- Willingness to roll-up your sleeves and play a role within a team.
- Qualified, or pursuing relevant qualifications (CFA, FIAA, CIMA, CAIA)

Beyond these traits, experience in the superannuation industry would be valued given some of the immediate client opportunities but is not necessary.
