- Working as a Patient Services Officer, you will be responsible for providing medical administration support in a large, fast paced department. Duties will include patient registration, preadmissions, admissions, billing, patient referral management, switchboard, mail room, liaising with specialist & GP practices and various other reception duties. You will provide a high level of customer service to patients and their families, hospital staff and other health providers.- The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- Ideally previous emergency centre, hospital or medical practice administration experience
- Intermediate computer skills and data entry accuracy
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritise their workload
- Exceptional attention to detail and focus in a fast-paced environment
- We’re seeking those with the availability to work several shifts per fortnight (7.5 hour shifts), rostered over a 24/7 period including night shifts between the hours of 23.00-7.30.**What we offer**:
