Remuneration: $28.89 -$30.23 p/h + 23% Casual Loading + 11% Super + Penalties & Allowances

Your part in The Wesley Hospital team

Working as a Patient Services Officer, you will be responsible for providing medical administration support in a large, fast paced department. Duties will include patient registration, preadmissions, admissions, billing, patient referral management, switchboard, mail room, liaising with specialist & GP practices and various other reception duties. You will provide a high level of customer service to patients and their families, hospital staff and other health providers.

Using your customer service and communication skills, you’ll work effectively with your team and demonstrate:

- Ideally previous emergency centre, hospital or medical practice administration experience
- Intermediate computer skills and data entry accuracy
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritise their workload
- Exceptional attention to detail and focus in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts including night shifts between the hours of 2300-730
