As the Contract Analyst with Origin Zero, you will support the negotiation, development and decision-making pertaining to business customer sales, supplier and partnership agreements and related commercial matters for customer facing businesses of the Business Energy and Solar divisions. You will brief and engage with Lawyers, Group Tax, Procurement & Vendor management, Regulatory, Compliance and Carbon functions to execute actions to resolve high value commercial disputes and issues.

Reporting to the Retail Contracts Manager, you will develop and govern commercial agreements, transactions and related matters across Origin Zero and the National Response Centre. We are looking for Customer Contracts professional with a strong understanding of the Electricity Market who is passionate about helping businesses work towards Net Zero.

**Duties**
- Negotiation and preparation of business customer sales, NRC and solar supplier and partnership agreements for business customer acquisition and retention
- Optimise Origin’s commercial position, customer centric terms and respond to legal and regulatory changes
- Support Retail Contracts Manager in the commercial development of new value-adding offers/products for Business Energy Customers
- Briefing and engaging with internal and external lawyers and supporting the prioritisation of legal activity
- Prepare commercial briefs/advice pertaining to proposed commercial agreements

**Skills & Experience**
- Experience in a similar commercial, risk, legal management or sales management role
- Proven understanding of Electricity market with a focus on renewable energy
- Tertiary qualifications in commerce or legal (desirable)
- High attention to detail and focus on robust processes and controls to manage customer contracts
- Customer Centric approach and ability to balance commercial and customer needs to drive business outcomes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
