Our client, a leading organisation in the energy and utilities sector, is seeking an experienced
Business Analyst
to join their team on a
contract engagement
. This role will be pivotal in supporting a large-scale, complex systems implementation, providing analytical insights and process improvements across key HR and business systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and co-lead
    business process mapping workshops
    and stakeholder interviews.
  • Document business processes using
    BPMN 2.0 standards
    .
  • Analyse and evaluate business processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Elicit, document, and validate business requirements
    and business rules using best-practice codification techniques.
  • Support the
    software selection process
    , including evaluation of
    RFT/RFP
    supplier responses.
  • Assist in developing
    change impact assessments
    based on business analysis outputs.
  • Collaborate with users and the project team to resolve issues and ensure successful delivery.
  • Follow internal processes and frameworks to maintain a strong focus on
    safety, wellbeing, and compliance
    .

About You

You're an experienced Business Analyst who thrives in complex project environments and enjoys working closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable outcomes. You're comfortable facilitating workshops, analysing business processes, and supporting large-scale digital and systems initiatives.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience as a
    Business Analyst
    within large-scale or enterprise system implementations.
  • Solid understanding of
    software delivery methodologies
    such as Waterfall and Agile.
  • Experience evaluating
    RFP/RFT
    responses.
  • Functional and technical knowledge of
    COTS solutions
    .
  • Exposure to
    HR / Payroll systems
    , particularly Time & Attendance, Rostering & Scheduling, and Award/EA interpretation.
  • Familiarity with
    AI tools
    such as Microsoft Copilot (advantageous).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
