Operations Managers are responsible for the strategy, development and consistent execution of field / project operational standards. This position will drive continuous improvement process while meeting all Company requirements for compliance and financial performance. Maintaining ongoing customer relations and acting as the primary liaison between customer field staff and the DDH1 Drilling organisation.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Connect the interface between operational requirements and EHS systems, processes and practices so that statutory, company and client requirements are met.
- Represent DDH1 in negotiations with customers and suppliers as required by your manager to achieve satisfactory operational and commercial outcomes.
- Interact with client safety representatives, as required, and promote DDH1 delivery of safe profitability and growth.
- Identify risks / hazards and ensure corrections are implemented.
- Provide leadership on operational matters including drilling technical issues, drill and ancillary equipment and ensuring competency development.
- Ensure relevant operations systems, processes and practices exist, are understood, and applied consistently throughout the business.
- Assist the Region Asset & Fleet Manager to ensure equipment meets the requirements of the drilling standard and client requirements.
- Collaborate and share best practices / learnings across the business.
- Execute significant projects such as mobilisations and geographic enhancement.
- Direct field travel as required with Operations Administration.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Previous Drilling experience mandatory.
- Previous experience in a leadership role.
- Perth based position.
- CERT IV in Drilling Operations
