**About the Medical Workforce Unit**

The Medical Workforce Unit (MWU) provides overall management of the medical workforce at all levels and provides a central monitoring and resource in that regard for all clinical services. The medical workforce itself is a large dynamic workforce numbering in excess of 1,400 and including doctors at all stages of career development.

The MWU provides day to day management of the DiT workforce in its entirety at Austin Health and across the various aligned services, including rural rotations.

**About the role**

A regular day encompasses
- **Office administration including mail/mailbox maintenance and stores ordering**
- **Administrative support to the Doctors in Training team across various aspects of Medical Workforce Management, including rostering and recruitment**
