**Position Summary**
The Ticketing and Events Coordinator is responsible for two distinct streams of work for The Australian Ballet's portfolio of corporate partners:
The coordination of an annual calendar of ticketing requirements for corporate partners
The planning and coordination of events, predominantly pre-performance dinners and cocktail style hospitality
The Australian Ballet has a strong and continually growing partnership partner portfolio with some of the leading and most respected brands in the Australian market. The Ticketing and Events Coordinator role sits within the External Relations team who has developed a reputation for excellence in arts partnerships, and consistently delivers to a high-standard.
This is a Melbourne based position and has a limited travel component as sponsor events and season obligations require.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Coordinate all ticketing requirements for the all Corporate Partners to Opening Nights, season nights, Dress Rehearsals, sponsor events, corporate hospitality program and ad hoc requests. This includes allocating tickets in Tessitura database in response to sponsor requirements, issuing of tickets to sponsors and facilitating day-to-day ticketing requests
- Liaise with all ticketing stakeholders internally including Ticketing and Customer experience team, Company Management, and External Relations team
- Liaise and co-ordinate all event requirements with performance venues, venue caterers, suppliers and broader External Relations team members
- Onsite event delivery support and hosting for events in Melbourne (after-hours during performance seasons)
- Responsible for ensuring all ticketing, event builds and relevant information is input into Tessitura database and broader company scheduling software system
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Experience in Tessitura - Highly desirable
- Min 3-5 years administration and/or ticketing/events roles
- Self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Very strong Project Management skills ie able to multitask, prioritise, meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong computer and database management skills
- Ideally from a fast-paced background and comfortable working in a high-energy, deadlines driven environment
- A confident, strong customer service orientation and team player
- Flexible, collaborative, problem solver
