**About the company**:
Having been established for over 15 years, this company has grown substantially and delivers infrastructure projects across Sydney and the rest of NSW. They work alongside Tier one contractors and also government agencies and continue to go from strength to strength.

**About the Role**:
We are seeking a Survey Manager to assist with the establishment and management of the survey department. Reporting to the Managing Director you will oversee the management of this division as well as expand and develop the client base.

**Duties**:

- Report to the Managing Director
- Develop new and existing clients
- Assist with winning future projects
- Implement QA systems/Work instructions/KPI’s
- Leading the Survey teams
- Mentor and develop the team
- Assist with the recruitment of Surveyors
- Plan the workloads,
- Liaise with the client
- Be a point of contact for clients, in-house & external teams
- Report writing
- Assisting with uploading data & calculations
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained

**About the Requirements**:

- Formal Surveying qualifications
- Ideally have 10+ years' experience in surveying
- Have a proven track record of surveying and management
- Be anexisting Survey Manager or someone wishing to step up
- Knowledge of earthworks, roads, bridges, rail, structures etc
- Ability to make decisions, liaise with the client and think on your feet
- Be capable of planning workloads
- Be capable of developing the survey team
- Be capable of submitting tenders/estimations
- Knowledge of surveying equipment and software packages
- Strong communication and leadership skills
