Delivery Lead

**Your New Role Looks Like This**:
The Data Delivery Lead will be instrumental in managing the end-to-end wealth and capital markets Data Migration and integration to existing downstream solutions from inception through to implementation and transition to support.

The Delivery Lead will be responsible and accountable for leading small high performing project team(s) to elicit requirements, provide thought leadership, support the development and delivery of solutions that are fit for purpose and deliver business value. They will be able to lead, mentor and develop the team(s) and project resources to meet project deliverables by utilising a self-determined delivery approach.

The role will primarily have a technology delivery focus and will leverage AU’s hybrid agile and waterfall methodology, providing an opportunity to be hands-on and utilise cross skills. In addition to delivering against agreed quality, time and cost constraints, roll-up reporting highlighting project health status will be required.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Delivery management of project/s scope, schedule, quality and budget constraints
- Issues, risk and dependency management
- Stakeholder management
- Commercial management and procurement
- Supplier and integration management
- Reporting and planning
- Coaching and mentoring
- Vendor and service provider management

**Please note that this is a 12 month FTC**

**About You**:

- Demonstrate 5+ years of experience in successful delivery of complex data related projects end to end.
- Day-to-day coordination on progress, prioritization and problem solving with the Data implementation team.
- Support the process of documenting business requirements/user stories from stakeholders.
- Support alignment meetings eg stand-ups, showcases, SteerCo, Working Groups etc.
- Experience operating and delivering projects using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
- Create detailed project plans and sprint backlogs.
- Create and deliver project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs or requirements.
- Solid experience leading multiple teams, business, and technology stakeholders to a common outcome.
- Ability to quickly identify the optimal solution when presented with a series of constraints.
- Delivery of all projects within the prescribed governance structure.
- Work as a trusted advisor providing thought leadership to key stakeholders across IT & Business Units.
- Demonstrated experience providing thought leadership, mentoring, coaching and training colleagues, team members and direct reports
- Experience in the use of JIRA
- Experience in Agile or DataOps delivery, quality practices, techniques and tools at all layers of data engineering
- Tech-savvy and good understanding of recent technologies/terminologies including modern data platforms and BI tools.
- Fundamental understanding of Data, Master Data Management & Data warehousing is desirable
