**About the role**

As Field Worker (Streetscape) you will be part of the Streetscape team in the Works and Field Services Branch and will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of streetscaping, gardens and greening activities throughout Ipswich.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- General maintenance of Council’s streetscape program
- Adhering to correct planting techniques
- Ensure continuous improvement of services
- Operate work relevant machinery

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency and leadership
- Relevant qualifications and experience in Horticulture
- General knowledge of plants and trees species
- Knowledge of turf and plant care
- The ability to be resilient and agile
- You will be required to be immunised against Q Fever

**What's on offer?**

This is a full time position, Level 4 with a salary of $62,387 plus superannuation of up to 12.25%.
