**About the role**

As a Field Worker (Roads and Drainage Signs) you will be part of the Works and Field Services team and will be responsible for operation of machinery and undertake detailed maintenance of Roads and Drainage assets to Council Standards.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Operate plant and equipment within licence requirements, manufacturer’s specifications and to Council standards
- Ensure all machinery and equipment is maintained to manufacturer’s specifications and Council standards
- Ensure continuous improvement of services provided by liaising and providing feedback to the Team Supervisor

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership
- Current “C” Class Driver’s Licence
- Statements of Attainment for the competencies outlined in the Responsibilities in item 3

Statement or appropriate National Qualification Certificates covering these duties, or evidence of proficiency (equivalent knowledge and experience)

A pre-employment medical is required for this role (Including a drug and alcohol test)

This is a permanent full-time position at Grade 9 with a salary package commencing at $57,619 plus superannuation of up to 12%.
