**Job Summary**

Praxis Aerospace is always seeking people with a passion for aerospace. There are a range of opportunities available for systems and project engineers across different aircraft types and programs including fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft, communications and radar systems, and space systems. The roles may include acquisition projects, upgrade projects and sustainment roles.

**Job Tasks and Responsibilities**

- Verification & Validation

**Selection Criteria**

**_ Personal Attributes_**
- High degree of personal integrity.
- Ability to work in a team environment promoting the culture of the organisation.
- Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated.
- Ability to research to gain new knowledge and learn new skills.

**_ Essential criteria_**
- Tertiary Qualifications with 8+ years’ experience in aviation or related fields.
- Australian citizen

**_ Desirable criteria_**
- Existing Australian Government security clearance.
- Knowledge and experience with Defence, or Defence Industry.
- Knowledge and experience with Defence Capability Life Cycle.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng).
- INCOSE Certification as a Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP).
- Experience in military aircraft acquisition and upgrade projects.
- Recognised project qualifications (PMP, RegPM, CPPD etc)
- Experience as a Systems Engineering or Design Engineer.
- Experience in ASDEFCON and development of RFP documentation.

Some positions, including those involving higher risk duties or where ongoing health surveillance is required will have specific physical requirements detailed in the position description.

Employees in office-based environments must as a minimum have the capacity to:

- Safely undertake seated desk based and monitor and keyboard work.
- Travel to other company or client locations within Australia if required.
- Hold a current driver’s licence and have the ability to drive.
