**The Opportunity**

We are flexible with where the role can be based, in either Brisbane, QLD or RAAF Base Williamtown NSW.

**As a**Senior Contracts Specialist**you will**:

- Support the entire life-cycle of contracts for the sale and support of aerospace products, by way of leading proposal development, negotiations, and contractual execution.
- Exercise appropriate signature authority in negotiating and contracting for the sale and support of aerospace products, services, technologies, financing and the licensing of intellectual property to support company strategies.
- Present business solutions to preserve and expand the business.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, Boeing policies and procedures and Australian statutory requirements as well as prioritisation of customer requirements for assigned tasks.

**Required Qualifications**:

- This position must meet Export Control and Security Clearance compliance requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 3+ years of post-qualification experience advising and/or interacting with clients, customers or suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposals
- Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Law or Master's degree
- Experience in Contracts, and Aerospace experience is highly desirable
- 6+ years of experience in contracts or other commercial/legal advisory
- Experience supporting reviews of proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to self-manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
