**Location**: Parramatta/ WFH
- **Length**: 6-months (potential to extend)
- **Up to $650 per day + super**

NSW Government agency looking for a Job Evaluation Specialist to deliver quality and efficient job evaluation services and is responsible for the completion of job evaluations and facilitate learning workshops.

**About the role**:

- Evaluate assigned job descriptions (JD) using Mercer International Position Evaluation (IPE) methodology
- Conduct an initial review of the job description and accompanying documentation.
- Provide expert advice and guidance in articulating role accountabilities, and assistance in drafting and/or editing JDs to clearly express the requirements of a role and cover off matters of compliance
- Undertake research and analysis into benchmarking of roles and recommend adjustments when required
- Contribute to the mapping of current positions to new job descriptions
- Contribute to the improvement of job evaluation processes and procedures

**Essentials**:

- Demonstrated experience of Mercer IPE job evaluation methodology
- High level of computer literacy particularly MS Office as well as tools provided by external service providers
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
